Delivery Micro Catheter with Detachable Tip

Welcome to the New Frontier in Onyx Embolization.

With its detachable tip, the Apollo Micro Catheter is specically

designed to mitigate the technical challenge of catheter entrapment

during Onyx embolizations. Its versatile reux management abilities let

you navigate further into distal tortuosity, inject higher Onyx volumes

over longer time periods, safeguard the neurovasculature during

retrieval, and complete more embolizations from

a single access point.

Syringe Adapter

The Syringe Adapter included with the

Apollo Micro Catheter prevents dilution of

Onyx in the hub, improves visualization,

and increases accuracy by reducing

dead space.

End-to-End Reinforcement

Transition Zone (At 140 cm)

Excellent torque transfer and pushability is provided

through Apollo’s transition zone, where proximal stainless

steel coil meets distal Nitinol braiding. A strong Pebax

liner enables torque and pushability to be efﬁciently

transferred at the joint.

Point of Detachment (POD)

Engineered with proprietary technologies to

release the tip with a consistent, predictable

amount of force.

Detachable Tip

Greatly reduces the critical challenge of catheter

entrapment during Onyx embolization. The Apollo

Catheter’s tip can be reliably detached and left securely in

place. Reﬂux can be permitted and monitored, allowing for

maximum injection time and deeper Onyx

penetration.

Choose from three tip lengths — 1.5 cm, 3.0 cm and

5.0 cm — to ensure that the POD is proximal to the last

tortuous segment of the accessed pedicle.
